  • It’s really not that complicated though. Our houses easily support air-conditioning, what the hell are you talking about? If anything, our houses are better suited as they are insulated really well. Just cut a damn hole through the wall and install a split unit.

We’re just not used to it and until now it was considered a waste of energy. That’s it.

The house I live in is cold as fuck by the way. And I don’t have an AC unit. I just don’t open the doors and windows during daytime. At night I let the cooler air in. I do live in the northern part of Germany though. That may not be viable for you.

  • I’ve recently learned why I’m attracted to social misfits. Apparently having ADHD is somewhat of a radar to find other people on the spectrum. I really can’t be around “normal” people for more than half a day, I have no idea what to do with them. They all have such conforming interests, it’s just boring to me, and I don’t mean that in a condescending way. It’s just how my brain is wired.

I used to like him somewhat. But I put on one of those Netflix specials with him and tuned out around 10-15 minutes in because he was just unfunny and hateful. Same with the British bloke, who’s name I forgot. He was pretty based when he called out the actors being friends with Epstein during the Oscars but the latest gig was just “haha, girl with a cock, hahahaha lol, man with tits”. It’s just not funny. If you make jokes about minorities, at least have them be funny and not hurtful. It can be done, just not like this.

  • I agree with you that Terry Pratchett is so much better. But it’s not very comparable. Harry Potter lives from the comfy feeling of a magical boarding school and the classic “chosen one” thing. It’s easy reading and draws a very clear imagery in the minds of the readers. The disc world is a bit more… Abstract I guess?

So I’d rather pirate Harry Potter if it’s something that interests you. And definitely also read Terry Pratchett, simply because it is better.
