I used to buy my music from 7digital, but they were bought by a shitty company, and also have not responded to questions about albums I bought that are no longer in my library.

So now I use Qobuz. They’re a streaming service, but they have a separate download store you buy stuff from without a subscription.

Having a project’s dependencies in the project dir also makes more sense imo, because these are generally packages that nothing else on the system needs.

In the example you gave of Steam, I’d agree the filter should not be there. But unfortunately that blade cuts both ways, also filtering out review bombers that did it because a game includes a trans character or whatever, which is actually useful.

If you just run the file you just created, it doesn’t matter that they detected a redirect. I mean it would be a bit silly to download a script, check it, and then re-download it to pipe into bash.

I think this usually comes from people using AUR or nightly packages, which can cause stuff to break if you update often. That’s what I did when I first tried Arch.

Why do you send all these things as separate files? Is just a rasterised or vector export of the project not enough?

I never said there was. There is however a kernel parameter to change the machine id, which I did say.

If you’re really worried about that, just change it every time you boot or something. There’s a kernel parameter to change it.
