Yeah let me find 20 million dollars to make that movie

Caffeine pills. Alternatively, basically the same way you do alcohol

Many people fundamentally do not understand that a child is not a pet, and should more often than not be treated with the same or higher respect as an adult
British person spotted
(Joking, but this joke is straight out of taskmaster or something)

I recall a story where a historian visited ireland and heard a song with what the people singing called gibberish, but the historian recognized as an ancient language.
Im unfortunately too lazy to look it up and link it

I think this is how doctors expect me to answer auestions about alcohol and smoking. Ive smoked kne cigarette ever, and a single beer gets me drunk for the night, about once a week. Doctors hear that and think im having 3 hot dogs before i get to work

Yeah. Youd be surprised how many people just throw away computers. Ask around, im sure someone you know has one lying around theyd like to get rid of (maybe with some minor problem like needing a new hard drive or something)
Its easy to say something like “my camera for this shoot costs $5k, you could rent it for $300 a day and do it yourself” but people dont really care about art or skill. If youre shooting a wedding, for example, there are hundreds of little candid moments that your friend John the Designated Driver wouldn’t catch that Natalie GirlWhoDoesThisForALiving would.
Not to mention there aren’t enough weddings a day to sustain someone for $300 per, and youre competing with others, and blah blah blah.
I tend to follow my instinct of “your art is worth whatever you say it is”. If i like your art and i like your price, ill pay it, no haggling. If i dont like one or either, i apologize for wasting your time.

Yeah. I highly suspect its mostly people who need Ubuntu for job purposes and have security policies or just the C-suite refusing to follow the times

People ask this for every boycott or nationwide movement. The real answer is that more people do it if more time is given.
Theres a reason those facebook posts or tiktoks of “We’re boycotting ___ right now indefinitely!” Never really gain traction. Having one day where normies get to join in too and the data gets a sharp spike in activity is how change is noticed and effective.
“5 flock cameras are cut down nationwide weekly” is much less evocative than “On Halloween, 50,000 flock cameras were taken down in 3 hours” or something

Sounds like my job at a small full-house IT company. We did anything IT related the customer wanted. We got paid $1.2k by a rich guy to fix his son’s Roblox account once.

Real answer: this is talking about computers with windows 11 installed that also run Ubuntu through a service called WSL, or Windows Subsystem for Linux; basically you have a windows 11 pc that can do linux stuff too.
A native Ubuntu machine would be installed directly to the hard drive and booted that way.
Im either Dark Willow or Roshan. My wife is Kratos

Im sure you could name one (or more!) treasonous activity the current administration has done for every week they’ve held majority without much difficulty at all

Im a member of the nothing-ever-happens club but even I believe this story. Conservative men have a ideaology that demands they become hypocrites and social police at every opportunity

Unironically its exclusively to look “lean and efficient” to shareholders. You cant have “useless employees” making money when the product is already “finished”
No one in corporate America recognizes the value of a cohesive, well oiled team working a project theyre familiar with

Also accidental hovering seems to count in my history like 50% of the time

Iirc it was mainly a novelty thing for playing video games. A DOTA2 tournament was one of their big breakthroughs
Doordash alone has proven that people will buy anything at any price. Someone with severe depression takes it as a mental health tax, someone with a bunch of money takes it as a convenience fee, and doordash laughs all the way to the bank
