  • The benefit to me is that snaps update as soon as the patch is pushed and they sandbox better than flatpak. Its also easier to maintain a snap from a dev perspective (idk if thats true I just read it on some fourm)

I prefer flatpak because i like the name and flathub better but the development has kind of stagnated and a lot of their benefits are non existent. Flatpak sandbox is kind of a meme at the moment because most apps ask for way to many perms just to work.

  • This was an incredibly heavy handed forced surrender. This deal was bad and the option was accept or else things will get worse. Having Trump and Bibi make any agreement completely worthless. You can’t take any words at face value or make future analysis because these people never hold true their word. So I’ll believe the deal when its been solidly inplace and theyre in phase 2 with phase 3 agreed on.

Talking on the deal in a pretend world where we can actually trust that its going through.

If Gaza can get custodianship transferred to a Palestinian group instead of right wing western technocrats then this entire deal could be salvaged. But otherwise its a shit deal and this entire war has been for nothing (from the Palestinian perspective). They managed to nuke isreals reputation but found out the hard way that countries don’t go to war for moral reason and their allies weren’t shit.

Isreal has gotten everything they wanted and more with the costs being minimal casualties and their entire nations PR nuked into oblivion. I think majority of the average world citizens will for the rest of their lives perceive Isreal badly but day to day will completely forget the entire conflict so life will return to normal for isreal in 3-5 years.

I think this deal might be isreal luring hamas out of Gaza city just to get hostages and strike them before they move into gaza city.

  • I dont think anyone has said or hinted anything like that. Its more like a natural progression where they worked there and gained the skills and experience that allowed them to pursue their own channel. When they work for LTT they learn a lot about how to be on camera and run a channel then down the line they can put those to use and make their own channel.

Alex was one of the best hosts and will be missed. Im not really into cars so I won’t be watching his new channel. Hopefully he can find sponsors to enable him to afford to make cool projects.
