I used to be dismayed that fast charging the electric car ended up being about as expensive as filling the tank with gas (price per mile), because damnit electricity should be cheaper than gas, and I was having to wait “at the pump” for longer periods of time. But it still made up for it because outside of road trips I never had to use the fast chargers.

Now it’s work the wait, because even 60 cents per kilowatt (which is still so much bullshit) I go so much further per dollar than 6 dollars a gallon gas.

I’m excited for all the disposable AAA gaming income that can now go to indie developers…

But seriously, I’ve done Santa con, as a spectator, for a decade and never once did I think to myself “this is a charitable event”. It’s a place for 20 thousand Santa cosplayers to go dressed in 10 thousand Santa cosplay suits, and swill bear until the hohoho’s are really hohoho-ing.
