For better or worse it is unrealistic to expect business to just eat rising costs just because they got into business before the costs were so high. That would be nice but it’s just not how the world works. If that were true then entire economies would collapse every time there was an economic shock.

It is remotely true. Waving German flags at soccer games was essentially non-existent. Germans are more likely to identify as European rather than German, compared to other EU nations. If you ask Europeans “is your culture superior” people like Greeks say yes but people like Germans say no.

A good example would be the UK or France .They believe they are top dogs but, by US standards, they are impoverished.

This is an obvious bad example because German nationalism died with Hitler. Of all European countries, Germany hates itself the most.

Yeah it means you have house centipedes which is only slightly less bad.

Well the point to my comment wasn’t how smart I may be, it was that I feel like those topics are pretty standard things. If you watch or follow the news you’ll pick it up pretty quickly.

Unfortunately I don’t think this is mostly religion. A lot of people are stupid. Sincere question, when was the last time you talked to a normie?

I chatted with my hairdresser yesterday. She didn’t know:

• what a DMZ is.
• who SBF or Elizabeth Holmes are.
• that there is an anti trust case against Google.
• the word “query” as in “search query”.

For Halloween my girlfriend and I are going as SBF and Elizabeth Holmes. She commented that “no one outside [my] little circle is going to know who those people are.” I started to disagree but, in a way, she’s right.

Don’t get me wrong, she’s wonderful and hilarious and chill af. She’s just a bit dumb. And that’s okay but it’s true.

Boss: kids your age are so incredibly arrogant. You think you deserve the world.

I don’t understand why everyone at corporate Amazon is fine with this. I am a white collar corporate sell out asshole and I support unions 100% of the time, full stop.

Seems like the easiest way to get into a really good school would be to sue, whip up a media frenzy, and frame it through a feminist lens. Write an essay about overcoming adversity by standing up for what is right, no matter the cost.

For me it’s not about the shittiness of the Church. If you are from a progressing and welcoming church then that’s great and you’re probably giving some people a community who might not have had one otherwise.

I get more caught up in the fact that an adult would actually believe this crap. Even young kids know magic isn’t real but actual adult humans believe in it with all their hearts.
