I mostly can’t get over paying more for worse specs. It doesn’t have to feel bad now but with 8 years of support it could very easily not feel good in the future. It’s a $760 phone that benchmarks close to the Samsung A54 a $400 phone.

The selling point is the ethical value of the phone but it’ll never top how much waste buying a used phone saves.

After a quick googling it looks like the average person breathes 20-30 cubic meters of air a day.

But a server wouldn’t care about oxygen in the air just the heat.

My concern with this is they said nothing about the exchange of air or heat in this space. Such a small space would get very warm pretty quickly and with it not touching anything it would retain the heat. The air would also not exchange unless you manually did it making it eventually suffocate you.

Hell the phone knows your carrier from the SIM in it. It’s not like you can VPN your way outta that.

While I wish that were true it’s just not that simple. People are creatures of habit and the experience has to be absolutely awful to get people to break habits, especially social habits. We’re talking people will stay in abusive relationships where they get physically beat regularly because they are scared to change.
