Well if you, for instance, lived in Argentina and paid the local price it might just be 1 or 2 dollars. Not that I would know anything about that.

I’ve been able to make do without a car for over 30 years of my life and i just bought my first car, an EV. With a home charger it’s awesome and off-peak charging I often get a full charge (77kWh) for 1€.

Or maybe it has gone up because we have vastly more efficient machines and technology at our disposal.
