eBay is still the only game in town for a lot of items. Vintage record albums to name one.

Aside from some of the other reason already talked about, a lot of people are delusional. They think their second hand trash is worth millions.

Saw a person trying to sell a “Rare” Cinderella Black Diamond VHS tape for $400. Those things are a dime a dozen and you get one for $10.00

  • I’ve actually been printing more at home over the past couple of years than I ever had before. Both as a hobby and for my son’s school stuff. The trick is to buy those after market inks on ebay. I use the Canon PIXMA series and can get 5 packs of all 4 colors for ~$20.00us. I tried the refillable cartridges, but the effort and mess isn’t worth it.

The only thing with the printers is the print heads seem to clog too easily. Need to make sure you’re using it regularly.

  • If I was going to caulk, I’d make sure you leave a gap in the back or something. If there is a leak and you have the base completely sealed, there would be nowhere for the water to escape and it would just build up around the ring and eventually rot the floor and probably begin to smell. If you have a gap, the water can drain out and at least you’ll see it and know it needs to be fixed

  • Tried clover before and couldn’t get it to work. It grew for a bit then just died. But you’re right, lawn services are a rip off. Honestly it’s not that hard to keep a nice lawn. Plenty of water and spread some feed every once in a while.

I heard those services are shady as hell too. People have caught them on their security cams stopping by and sitting in their trucks for 20 minutes then leaving. And they are a nightmare to try and cancel the service.
