  • Why are you confidently spouting nonsense all over the place? When has Israel bombed an Iranian nuclear site, ever? When you say “every time they make progress Israel bombs them”, you should be able to at least name a couple of times that has happened, right? Come on, look it up, you should be able to find at least one case. No? Stop spreading info you’ve pulled out of your rectum, people like you are the reason nothing online can be trusted. It’s poison, so please stfu when you have no idea what you’re talking about. This doesn’t make you sound smart, it makes you a nuisance.

  • How does the attacked country being a “paper tiger” influence your judgement of whether it’s shitty or not to attack it? Is it less shitty to attack a country because it’s perceived as being weaker? Is it only shitty when the attacked country is able to defend itself? Why? That would make the Israeli genocide on Palestinians “less shitty” too, since you know, “Israel has been beating the shit out of them for years now.”

It’s an interesting moral compass you’ve got there.

  • I recently tried switching to mint from the dark side, but the instability made me go back to Windows. I’d say everything doesn’t ‘just work’ on mint at all, unless you have the most basic needs in your usage. Whenever I’ve tried to raise the issues with seasoned Linux user, the answer has been “well, most regular people don’t need to do that specific thing”.

So if it’s true that Mint is the only Linux distro that “just works”, then Linux is definitely not even close to being suitable as a mainstream choice. Which really saddens me, as I felt much better on a moral level using mint, but I couldn’t live with the little annoyances that kept popping up. So now I live with the annoyances that pop up in windows instead .

  • I think it’s one of my all time favorites. I think people here live in the tech literate bubble who know how to use specialized software for the different things excel does, albeit clunkily. But average people are intimidated by those more advanced tools, and there are a lot of average people in decision making positions who benefit greatly from being able to use excel.

  • Let’s just not mention that the “whichever new faith” we’re speaking of is the very rapey evangelical Christianity, while making sure that we randomly emphasize that Islam is rapey, which is then expanded into Muslims being rapey. All in a post that has nothing at all to do with Islam or Muslims or refugees or whatever other bogeymen we regularly like to demonize.

  • Probably could’ve expressed my thoughts better, but I believe your definition and my thoughts aren’t necessarily opposed. I was clumsily trying to say that DEI as is doesn’t really upset the hierarchies you mentioned, and is therefore not opposed to conservatism. Accepting the premise that in conservatism the rich are deserving of their riches because they are better, my point was that DEI actually works to solidify that class disparity because it’s mostly designed to give the appearance of inclusivity in order to attract clientele from all segments of society, thus increasing the flow of income. If DEI means diversity at the bottom of the corporate structure while maintaining a homogenous owner class at the top, which is my argument, then it’s just a tool to transfer money from the bottom to the top, while expanding the pool of money to take from the bottom through inclusivity. I think I fucked up the argument again, but hope it at least clarifies what I was trying to say a little bit.

  • You cannot hold conservative beliefs and also be a fan of diversity, equity, or inclusion.

This is the way it’s been in recent US political culture, where everything has somehow turned into identity politics and social markers. But I don’t believe that applies to conservatism in general. Politics has almost always been driven by economic goals, not identity, and DEI has been implemented because it’s been determined to be good for the bottom line. That it’s useful to rile up the base on id-pol in order to get into power doesn’t change that. The owners still only care about profits, and would hire or fire anyone if it was determined that it’d add to the bottom line.

And you do understand that unless you specifically mention that, saying that you’ll be dead in four years can only be reasonably interpreted as you having a terminal illness, right? Hence, saying that I’m a liar when I made the only reasonable interpretation of information provided by yourself, is bad faith at best. Do you not see that? I’m not your parent, I’m not aware of your deeply held thoughts, and I’m frankly not interested enough to investigate it on my own. I hadn’t checked your profile because I don’t care what you mod, why would I you narcissistic weirdo?

So you’re being purposefully vague and express yourself in a way where you obviously want to, need to feel like a victim of a slight from strangers on the internet. This isn’t healthy behavior dude, take a deep breath and have a look at how you’re behaving. You don’t need to be a perpetual victim. Just be yourself, it can hardly be worse than whatever the fuck this garbage behavior is. You’re spreading your misery, it’s just bad all around for everyone involved. I won’t ever be engaging with your rubbish again, it somehow manages to perpetually be sadder than last time. Get a grip.
