I have a few small/low power HP machines. I wonder if I could just use that since I already have it on hand.

Most of my devices have all the relevant blocks and filters etc. my iPhone doesn’t and given I’m mostly in a few paid apps it hasn’t really been an issue in the past at all.

I really just wanted to call attention to how sick of an issue this is for someone who might be trying to help themselves.

My desktop and laptop both have adblocks on them amongst other things. But I’ve been doing a lot of this research on my iPhone.

I’ve definitely heard of bars offering free non alcoholic drinks to DD’s but I can’t imagine any trying to get AA coins in exchange for alcohol that’s crazy.

I complained about this to their support one time

And I use an iPad for DND character sheets/notes and generally running sessions for my players.

Some things about the fediverse still escape me. But I’m trying to learn.

I’m on memmy (iOS client) and clicking that link takes me to the apps browser rather than just navigating to the community. I’m guessing because it’s another instance? So I tried searching for the community in memmy’s search bar and I’m finding a bunch of tiny TTRPG groups but not that one from that instance

I’m struggling to find as much interesting content as I did on Reddit. BUT I am much more easily finding pleasant conversations. And that I think is more important.

I’m posting more here than I did on Reddit because I want to be the change I want! Also I’m still learning to navigate this place too. I like it though.

I was holding out hope up until now. Just recently showed up on the memmy app (TestFlight app for iOS) to try and replace Apollo. UI is ok so far. Lots to learn it seems but hoping this scratches the same itch.
