I hit the big 101000 recently. Time sure does fly by.

One of my friends would visit and we’d share a keyboard and play this. I almost always mained Tigi.

I can literally hear Track 1 music in my brain right now lol. Good times.

I distract myself with video games usually. Takes the mind off of the day to day things.

But if I don’t have the energy, sometimes curling up on the couch with a blanket and a drink and watching Youtube or movies or something is nice.

Yes! You get to invite the bots and choose their talent specs and everything. And you can fill raids with them too!

The following YouTube video is a step-by-step guide to setting up AzerothCore with player bots. It is a bit complicated but if you follow along, you too can get a WoW server stood up ;-)

Once you have the server, you can use the ChromieCraft client and edit “WTF/Config.wtf”. And set the “realmList” to the local IP of the virtual machine.

Oh also, here’s a link to the player bot commands list. It’s a bunch of text commands. Nirv has a addon that lets him issue commands but for whatever reason it’s incompatible with some of my preferred addons. So I just create chat macros and use an action bar to issue commands.

Note: I feel like I should warn… Nirv is kinda an a-hole. But he is very smart and knowledgeable about this stuff. So maybe just focus on the tutorial and getting it setup etc.

I’m a sucker for nostalgia and a believer of game preservation, and I managed to figure out, with some guides, how to setup my own private World of Warcraft server using AzerothCore. It only goes up to Wotlk but IMO, that’s the best expansion anyway.

I’ve been using it currently to solo play the game with bots. Funny enough, the bots actually dodge fire! Lol. But since it has bots that means I can still do dungeon and raid content! And I don’t have to deal with the stress of juggling a raid schedule. I can just play whenever I want, however long I want.

It does also have the option to be port forwarded to allow friends to join. But I don’t have any good friends interested in that. And I don’t want to make the server fully public for reasons.

Unfortunately, its very complicated to setup. So I highly recommend finding a guide before trying to install it. It does require setting up a virtual machine and running a bunch of scripts. So it can be a bit complicated for anyone who isn’t tech savvy.

I’m not sure if the feature is region locked or not. I didn’t have to worry about any of that. This feature is brand new with the One UI 7 update.

I currently have and use a Samsung Galaxy S24+. Not sure what you mean by CSC.

There is a default voice recorder app included with the phone which can be used for meetings or other recordings. But when I make a phone call there is an extra button on screen. When clicking the button it informs the caller that the call is being recorded for legal reasons. Any recording that goes thru that app is able to be transcribed.

For users with a Samsung Flagship phone, if you have the “One UI 7” update, they just recently added this feature.

I use Kdenlive to make Karaoke videos. The kind with text and it animates over the text. Allowing viewers to sing the songs.

Granted… I only started last year and I only have 2 videos and I’m severely slacking off… But that’s besides the point haha… I still did it.

Here’s hoping the update is really good.

I’ve been using a PUR brand water filter that attaches to the faucet for quite awhile now. If you have an older one I recommend getting a newer one. It has a little LED that flashes green and it will turn red when the water filter goes bad. Although I’m pretty sure it’s just a timer, it doesn’t actually detect the filter has gone bad I don’t think.

Also my area has a pipe issue and there may be Lead in the water… I’m hoping the filter helps but idk…

IMO, I still think there’s not enough infrastructure to support charging EVs. Don’t get me wrong I’ve seen some. Just… Not a lot. Until charging is as prevalent as gas its just not worth it. Or if you have a house I guess.

In some areas I hear it’s good. But in my area there’s only 1 set of charging stations at a Wawa that I know of. And that Wawa is an hour drive away. Plus I’m at a rental complex that mows the lawns regularly and having a cable run from my house to the car is not allowed.

My current gas operated vehicle has about 160000 miles on it. I’m hopeful that my vehicle will last a long time. And then when my vehicle dies, I’ll look at the infrastructure again and see if it’s beneficial for me to switch to an EV. I’m going to continue to wait until it’s beneficial for me to buy a new car.

We’ll see how it goes.

I had a old job that told me that code is “self documenting” if you write it “good enough”. And that comments were unnecessary.

It always annoyed the heck out of me. Comments are imo more helpful than hurtful typically.

My desktop is for home and gaming use. However I also have a gaming laptop which I bought for whenever I travel. That said, I don’t travel much… shrug

I actually ended up using my gaming laptop as a way of playing VR games in my room so that I have more privacy. Although I’ll still unplug and take it with me whenever I travel.

I also just recently got a Samsung Galaxy S24+ and a touchscreen display to use DeX mode as a tablet of sorts. Mostly for note taking when I don’t want to take my heavy gaming laptop.

I’m all over the place lol. I also work in the tech field. Computer Programmer. So yeah… lol.
