  • No, almost all people working for Google are good people. They believe it’s fine to spy on people to make money. Doesn’t make all the people who work there evil. But the core idea is to offer free services in exchange for people’s private data. The company slowly but surely removes any privacy online we have as human beings.

It’s usually like this. People who work in companies do what they are told. They may even enjoy it. In Googles case, they have a reputation for having great engineers. It’s very good for the career to work there.

Please expand on your own ideas.

  • I don’t know why. But I like small firm boobs… Seeing their shapes through clothes is the sexiest to me.

I remember how I thought about this before I went into puberty though. I had no interests in girls at all. And I remember wondering when that would happen.

Then it did happen and boobs became very sexy. So I guess it’s just chemicals in our brains/body causing it.

  • Scared of change? This is not just change - we have never had social media algorithms putting shit into people’s head about themselves and others, all day, every single day.

This shit is affecting people’s entire perception of the world and who they are. It’s not just some random change.

I haven’t forgotten being a kid. But when I was growing up, the so called dangers were computer games and too much TV. That was nothing compared to weaponized algorithms picking content that will “engage” people (make them react).

Some kids today are completely out there with pluto man. They just lost any sense of reality. Their entire perception of the world is from social media algorithms from tech companies. That’s one scary thought.

Sure it’s funny with “old man yelling at the cloud”, but there is something here to be concerned about.

  • Graphics bugs are from the graphics drivers most of the time (but not always). I reported quite a few bugs in kde 5 about window decorations looking/acting weird, and it got fixed quickly.

I used to switch between gnome and plasma all the time but since plasma 6 came out and I switched to a 4k screen, I’ve been sticking with plasma without any issues. Gnome actually looks bad now on 4k for me. :)

  • Actually yes, I’ve been feeling like that. I heard about https://timeleft.com/ (dinner with strangers) and thought it was such a cool concept. You sign up on the site, answer lots of questions about your personality, and then they have an algorithm that matches you with other people for a dinner somewhere where you live.

I went to one of those and ended up with 5 people, and still are in touch with 4 of them. Playing pool with them in a week. :)

There are many, many people feeling like we do. Just go meet them! I bet you will like it, and if not, it’s just a dinner. Nobody knows your full name so you can easily disappear and never meet those people again if needed.
