I love pineapple on both pizza and burgers. The flavor and bite quality is very appealing on a hot, meaty piece of food. Even better if the burger has soy sauce on it. The contrast brings out the best in both flavors.
I partly agree. I love pinapple on pizza and burgers, but only when I want the food to have that particular taste. The sweetness and sourness of pineapple is all-consuming flavor to me, and I don’t always want other flavors to be hidden behind the pineapple.
I can understand that. I think it’s best when the other flavors are also strong, but it a way that balances it out.
