The Trump administration has deported 17 more alleged gang members to El Salvador, the US state department has said, despite legal battles over removing people to the Central American country’s supermax prison.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the group included members of the Tren de Aragua and MS-13 gangs.

Salvadoran government officials told the BBC they included a mix of Venezuelans and Salvadorans.

At that point wouldn’t it just be cheaper to execute them than to pay to fly them to death camps in some other country? You can’t really bring them back that way either. I just don’t get the logistics of this once you’re sending someone to a death camp why not just save the millions it takes to get them there. If you or I kidnapped someone and sent them to a third world country to be killed it would still be considered murder so I don’t see how it is ethically any different?

It’s been said before, but it bears repeating:

      The cruelty is the point.

Death is swift and ends suffering. As much as they like to promote the death penalty, they much prefer to make their victims suffer.
