IIRC, it’s a civil case, can’t get pardoned for that (although I guess he could be pardoned for contempt charges?).

He can’t be pardoned for a verdict in a civil case.
I used to think a felon wouldn’t become president too, but that was before SC decided he is immune for all official acts.
It doesn’t even make sense, though, there’s nothing to “pardon”.
