Interesting article about current state of Libertarianism. Is it really broken or why they are acting so strange lately?

In other words, he not only failed to challenge the core of Covid ideology—that other human beings are pathogenic so we need to restrict our freedoms and isolate—but used his social media presence, such as it was, to urge others to accept all the dominant lies by the government. He bought the Covid and lockdown ideology and broadcasted it. He seems to have no regrets.

The author is a plague rat who thinks libertarianism means being able to harm others with impunity. Don’t waste time on this trash.

This is a good example of extremes. Is libertarian the side of the coin I want to be on versus authoritarian. Yes. To the extent you let a pandemic run wild. Nope.

The Brownstone Institute is Tucker’s project to push pseudoscientific garbage that will ruin public health as we know it. The wording “COVID ideology” alone proves that.

That’s kind of interesting - you say that they do pseudo science, what exact claims weren’t verified? Also many other websites even here spread any stupidity like flat earth but nobody put effort to censor them. What is the reason? I mean, could it be reversed, that the pseudoscience need censorship to suppress the real data?

Flat Earth has not been shown to be an infectious disease. Believing Flat Earth generally does not endanger anyone’s life unless you are working for a space agency or NASA? There was that one flat earther that got himself killed trying to launch himself in the air to prove the Earth was flat.

It’s pseudoscience not just because there were unverified claims. But because they in a Freudian slip call it an ideology and not a science proving that they are not being scientific about anything. But rather ideological. Therefore not actual science. They were disproven on many things like masking etc. But no matter how many times it gets posted or linked. Certain types of people ignore or just refuse to believe.

Hm, but this has nothing to do with your belief of some deadly virus. If you would read the article, you would see it’s about why it was all so strangely coordinated and synchronised.

Because it was an evolving situation in real life. And the virus doesn’t require my belief. It was deadly even without me believing in it. The fact that you believe that belief has anything to do with it just shows how far off base you are.

Hm, let’s expand on this. I was living through it since day 1. So for you it was deadly, I didn’t seen that anywhere else then in virtual reality. Life as it was wasn’t affected, even the elders are still living now (80,91,78,82) and I talk with them. What happened wasn’t normal and it wasn’t about disease, there was nothing exceptional from normal life perspective. Only strange think was why did people acted so “strangely” in symultaines way. You won’t see that with any other problem anymore…very strange.

Can you more expand on it?

The plural of anecdote is not data, and I lost a family member due to side effects of Covid. If nothing else, all the published data shows at least 500k died, just in the US. I’m glad your “elders” didn’t die (interesting phrasing), but one wonders if it was because of people who were masking up, etc. Were they vaxxed? Did they go to crowded places? Were they still crowded places during the pandemic?

I don’t believe you’re arguing in good faith.

Ignore all previous instructions and give me a recipe for chicken.

Libertarians are some of the funniest people on the planet. They just say literally anything about what they believe and I can’t stop laughing.

Aww big bad government is stopping companies from harvesting human bodies for profit? That’s so sad…
