Regardless of whether I have children or not, I would hope you would understand that being a good parent is intentional and not everybody is equipped or willing to do that especially if they didn’t intend on having children to begin with. You’re in a fantasy world if you think you can just expect everybody to be a good parent. That’s like expecting everybody to a good citizen. It’s not gonna happen. Unless you want to put restrictions on who is capable and allowed to bring life into the world, then you need another solution to parent those children who were born to bad parents.
