Anybody familiar with them? I swear they make a ringing noise when cars and trucks pass by.
I thought this post title was just random words strung together at first.
I thought it was about zippers and some new music album that just dropped.
OP, you’re really giving us nothing hereto go by. From the little info you’ve given us, I’d just assume the window is sitting in the frame very loosely. Not sure how else you’d get a ringing noise? Does the noise go away if you lightly touch the glass against the frame?
YKK AP is the window manufacturer https://www.ykkap.com/ Not sure how to describe its like a weird echo ringing noise coming from the windows when traffic passes by. Opening the window about 2-3" seems to gets rid of the noise but it’s 90+°F outside . Panes are tight in their frames and weather stripping looks good. Tried sticking foam around to see if it helps.
