I like that their implant is simply laid on top of the brain, instead of driving electrodes into brain tissue like Neuralink. I’d like to keep my brain unscarred.
- Talk about pulling for one horse. Could have said " Precision Neuroscience,Neuralink’s competitor, sets record with x# of brain connectors."
- I wouldn’t worry too much about neuralink “driving electrodes into brain tissue.” 85% of them retract in a reasonable timeframe. - That’d be funnier if the process didn’t leave that tissue with irreparable scars. - It’s about as safe as my FSD. Some of you may die, but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.
 -Enron Musk
- You’re not wrong. But it doesn’t seem like anything is going to stop Elon, so gallows humor is all I’ve got.

- I actually have a bit of hope for this one, since they seem to have figured out a way to avoid one of the known problems with these systems. At very least, it’s an angle worth exploring.
- Ten eighty pee!..oh shit… No! No shit! Okay okay, let’s start over, but no pee this time…
- Removed by mod - What does crappy AI art spam have to do with elon? Lol - ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

- Where? I do see people obsessing over Elon in the comments, but they’re not his fanboys.
