Samsung shows ads on the phone’s lock screen…it’s that intrusive. Only people maybe spared are those with 1K+ Galaxy Phones. By this point, might as well buy an iPhone.

I’ve been buying the galaxy line of phones for a while now, currently have an S21U. I’ve never seen ads on the lock screen before. It doesn’t completely surprise me though, my Samsung TV does have some movie and TV ads on the home screen, just like my Roku and most streaming apps now.

no, it doesn’t (I’ve never seen ads on all price ranges, M12, A52s and S21FE)

maybe you accidentally activated Samsung’s “help poor people” app (forgot it’s name). It shows ads on the lockscreen and donates most of the ad revenue to charities (Samsung takes a cut tho which is a bit scummy). You can just uninstall it, like any other app.

Also, low-end Samsung phones (like M1* and A1* series) come with a hidden app called AppCloud (it regularly sends you notifications, usually after installing updates, asking you to finish setting up your phone by installing some bloatware like TikTok and stuff), make sure to disable it from the Settings.
