Way too realistic
Edit: If the site becomes unresponsive, try disabling your adblock. The site doesn’t serve any actual ads. The issue is probably unintentional, but actually it does add to the realism xD
I don’t get it the link just takes me to my Amazon account page /s
This was hysterical. Thanks <3
I got stuck trying to tick the box. I had to click and drag to “highlight” the box, instead of just clicking.
That happened for me too. The whole page froze every minute or so and I had to refresh. I’m not sure if that was part of the game or not…
Same. I had to refresh most pages to get them to respond after freezing.
I got it in 6:05. Nice game.
Also LOL at Dennis saying he can’t see the survey because apparently it goes to another team, but then says that he knows I took the option that I’ll miss him on business days.
I had to disable ublock origin for it to work. hilarious
Brings me flashbacks to trying to cancel a telecom subscription in France.
They have services there that will take 15eur or so to do it for you, and yep… it’s worth it.
Still in the EU, I used a service to switch electric companies. All the telcos offer to cancel your old contract, but then they fight each other and you’re always the loser. It’s unreal.
Not my experience at all. There are well defined processes, you pay 2 bucks to send a letter with delivery guarantees and its done. Yeah, that’s old school and not online, but it works, comes with legal guarantees and has always been absolutely hassle free for me.
That being said, not all EU countries are the same.
You know, I think my mistake might be doing this in person. People can “yes, yes” you all they want, but, like you said, registered mail is legally hardcore.
You should always assume you’re getting screwed over without a paper trail, plenty of reasons why that would happen, plain greed not being the last of them.
It froze and forced me to reload the page four times.
10/10.
I was frustrated by how buggy and unresponsive this was.
Tap for spoiler
Then at the end it told me that it froze on me 4 times for the lulz. 10/10 top troll.
but let your card expire and look how they hound you to update your CC info with them…
That was infuriating but entertaining
I
How come clicking doesn’t do anything? Or is that the point? Just to see how long (or how many clicks) it takes before you realize that nothing is interactive and you’re just looking at a static image?
As others have mentioned, adblockers seem to break it somehow. It’s probably not intentional. The page doesn’t serve any (actual) ads, so it’s safe to try disabling your ad blocker. For me, refreshing the page a couple of times also fixed the issue even with uBO enabled.
You’re not missing much. Every single click simply gives you a cheeky error message. This isn’t realistic at all.
Oh, that is painfully accurate for some sites…
Thanks I hate it
That was fun! And a reminder that laws, not the market fix stuff like that. smiles in European
It crashes from time to time, then I have to reload the page. Firefox Android user.
I cancelled a subscription. It took a while. https://www.fundrstudio.com/games/cancel-your-subscription/#c=511-5-3
If you have an adblocker, it’s likely blocking the ads (part of the game).
Happened to me too, had to reload a couple of times. Not sure if it was intentional, but realistic anyhow xD The only thing missing is random loading times between each step.
And a giant one click resubscribe button at the very end
Same but I think it’s intentional as it says we have saved your progress and time at the top, after refreshing
Might be popup blocker in the browser? I saw something flash, a quick popup right before it “crashed” on my end.
