We’re going to have to make progress despite the Democratic establishment - they’re not going to help with the big reforms we need. If Democrats were really on the side of working people they would be pushing wealth taxes, top marginal tax rate increases, minimum wage increases, Medicare for all, monopoly busting, campaign finance reform, etc. Outside of Democratic Socialists and friends we’re not seeing any of that. They’ve had fifty years to combat steadily declining conditions for working people, and yet the squeeze continues.

The billionaires be like “Your choice: tax us or keep the Gestapo away from The Bay.”
