because lemmy is federated I thought I’d create my own instance, basically just for myself. Because I had no idea what I was doing, I tried to find post from other instances. First instance I tried was Beehaw. But it somehow did not work.

I was confused. Because after a few minutes I tried to get posts from other Instances and that worked pretty well… Any idea why I can’t access posts from beehaw on my own instance? Does it maybe have to do with them defederating lemmy.ml and sh.itjust.works?
