I’m usually a backend dev, but have been playing with React. I’m really interested in React Native and would love some guidance, tips, tutorials, etc.

Hi, I’ve recently watched this tutorial, it’s recent and covers everything in great detail, if you’re comfortable with react you should feel at home with RN

Hope this helps, you can always reference their documentation but i find it easier to learn from tutorials

I don’t know if I’d call myself comfortable with react. I’m learning React at work, so I decided to cross train myself on React Native for a side project.

Feel free to join us @ programming.dev/c/mobiledev as well. It’s sparse right now but we’ll snowball over time. React Native is a great framework to learn if you like React as a library.

I did Stephen Grider’s courses on Udemy and they were great ways to learn. And if you’re already a backend dev you’ll likely have a more elegant solution to using ngrok for the demo servers. ; )
