People want to be led. There are millions of people who can volunteer a few hours, if someone laid out a simple plan for them. Be very explicit. Say “we need 20 volunteers to sign up here and do X so that Y which helps Z”.
Dont alienate your would be contributors and voluneers. Be a leader. Lead.
