I have also definitely seen some millennial-equivalent of boomer humor comics lately and they’re so cringe. I need to see if I can find any of them to add to this comment. It’s usually some variation of “my girlfriend dragged me to…” and “FML.”

Lemmy has a bit of a boomer meme vibe going in general, not sure why. Aside from the more specific meme communities like c/tenforward or c/chevron7 the generic stuff is often 2010s era memes or really bad jokes. No idea why they get upvoted

Maybe because we millenials like to reminisce the memes of the time when memes were good.

Yeah I find a lot of the random comics are essentially basic observations but displayed in a cute/twee way. They don’t bother me but they definitely seem dated/I don’t really find them fun or funny. But whatever, most of them are harmless enough. It’s those more boomer ones like you’re describing that more bug me because of the social assumptions (usually prejudices) they reinforce.

ADHDinos: there is something I should, but I didn’t. Get it!? Haha!

Yeah as someone with a “medium” case of ADHD I rarely enjoy them. I get it, I get what it’s going for, but it’s not for me.
