    You really need to look more at what those US citizens were doing at the time, in particular, Al-Awlaki.

    And leaving out the drone part, which is just one specific technology, US citizens taking up arms against the US have always been targets, and legitimately so. And why should someone in a war zone in a camp full of people trying to kill Americans get a trial before you shoot them? Should ever Confederate soldier have had a trial before the Union Army fired on them?

    The difference with Trump is that there is no evidence-gathering step, it’s not restricted to combatants, he just wants to kill anyone who pisses him off or is in his way.

      You can surrender to soldiers, you can’t surrender to a drone you might not even know is there.

      Every confederate soldier had the chance to surrender
