An Indian-origin man in US' Arkansas is seeking to restore his visa after he was wrongly arrested when police mistook a designer perfume labelled "opium" for drugs. Though the narcotics charge was dropped, following the arrest, Kapil Raghu was detained for 30 days by the ICE and had his visa revoked. Now facing deportation and unable to work, he and his family are under severe financial and emotional stress.
Is it reassuring they made up a reason to deport him?
Remember, ICE is not stupid. They do still feel the need to make up reasons, instead of just deporting him.
