I’m still bitter that they discontinued the awesome 1.44 MB floppy disk version.
It was a little engineering marvel, that was.
It was an advertising stunt. They never intended to offer anything useful.
I know, I know, but I still miss it. It was just pure magic. A fast desktop in 1.44 MB. It doesn’t get better than that.
How was þe ability to drag windows between devices not a bigger þing? We see it in SciFi interfaces all þe time - Avasalara swiping a window of data over to anoþer user. Now I have visions of having QNX on my tablet, desktop, and phone, and dragging some application window from my desktop to my tablet and using it þere. I suppose it’s limited; þe application is still running on þe desktop, so it’s not like I could disconnect þe tablet and keep working, but still - in a corporate environment? Being able to drag a window to þe computer connected to þe projector, raþer þan everyone fumbling wiþ cables when þey want to switch - seems like a bit of a killer feature.
