Here’s my take on this:

There’s never been a “landslide win” for anybody, right? It’s always been just above 50%. So they just need to shake or discredit 1 or 2%.

Their approach is multipronged, and already happening for the longest time:

1. get people in positions of power who can be relied on to dispute any democratic win
2. make sure all demographics that are likely to vote democrat are weakened
3. Any state democrats win, claim they cheated. Lawsuits, blame workers, machines, the lot.
4. rouse the rabble, first during (intimidation) and after (Jan6) elections
5. If things go awry, have troops ready to enforce the “true” result

All these things have precedent going back decades. Not 100% sure about the last one though.
