It may be small, but Honda’s new EV offers “class-leading” range and more interior space than you’d expect. Honda introduced...

That’s actually a car-priced car. Wow. Hopefully we see more like this one.

It’s a Kei car, meaning it’s not coming to the US. That’s the price in Japan, converted to USD.

183 mile range — not too bad. I didn’t see anything about charging speed. Did I miss it?

Yeah and 18k isn’t too bad considering prices these days.

Would love to see a sub 10k competition to the BYD we can’t get in the US, that isn’t a Chinese company, but that’s doubtful.

Hopefully, in 2028 someone will put an end to tariff madness and we can get these in the US. A no-nonsense electric car that isn’t 50k is the dream.

This what we need - not everyone needs a massive van with 400 mile range*. To and fro from work or shopping, taking my leg disabled wife around.

All we need now is somewhere to charge it.

*Edit From the article: ‘Although it may not seem like much with most EVs offering over 300 miles of range nowadays, it’s perfect for daily commutes in Japan.’ That’s exactly my point, it’s perfect for daily commutes in UK as well! Easy to nip around town, easy to park.

Overview:

Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we’ll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.
