    Different groups want it up for different reasons.

    The far left wants it up so other wannabe dickheads hopefully don’t go full asshole like Kirk did.

    The moderate left wants it up so people are horrified enough to vote for gun control.

    The far right wants it up so they can use it as an excuse to tighten their grip further on civil rights.

    The moderate right wants it up because haha neck go splat.

    Maybe if Charlie worked on proving himself right instead of expecting others to prove him wrong, he might have learned something and avoided his fate.
