The suspect is still at large - officials earlier said they found a high-powered rifle in woods near where Kirk was shot.
Also, “high powered rifle” essentially means “not a 22”.

Allegedly the casing had “Hey fascist, catch!” written on it- so we’re gonna have another day or so before there’s any sort of defining knowledge about his ideologic inconsistencies. The damage is already done though, they’ve been using this as a call for war for the past 48 hours, the lie has made its way all the way around the world before the truth had a chance to be identified in any meaningful capacity.
CNN reporting that
And that (among other things):

He put the Antifa ↓↓↓ on there too, though. Along with another casing with the lyrics to Bella Ciao. I can’t see someone that’s not in the anti-fascist space thinking of putting those markings onto casings, honestly.
““Hey fascist! Catch!” followed by an up arrow symbol, a right arrow symbol, and three down arrow symbols”
That’s a Helldivers 2 reference, specifically for the “Eagle 500kg Bomb” stratagem. It is not the anti-fascist symbol, he could have used three diagonal down to the left arrows if he wanted to, but he did not.
Looks like the story keeps changing, it was being reported as “three down arrows” a few hours ago, now, as you say, “an up, right and three down arrows” which I absolutely agree is a Helldivers 2 reference.
Just like the supposed “transgender ideology” that turned out to be the TRN stamp from Turan Ammo, I daresay the details of the other engravings will change a couple more times before they actually release pictures of them.
That’s what’s being reported, yes. But law enforcement also called such engravings “transgender”, which is wholly unsupported by any reporting, so I’m going to hard side eye what law enforcement has to say about it.
