Lawyers for Jeffrey Epstein’s estate have given Congress a copy of the birthday book put together for the financier’s 50th birthday, which includes a letter with President Trump’s signature that he has said doesn’t exist.
As a designer, I see what he’s trying to pull off, illustration-wise, and it’s yielding nothing, if not a lot of cognitive dissonance. These look like something an illustrator for the New Yorker could shake out of their sleeves, even though donnie has none of the sensibilities or skills of that particular demo. Pretty much exactly what you’d expect from someone who has never acquired any skillsets, lacks self awareness, and lies pathologically about reality, truth and existence.

Oh, good call. The continuous perimeter line drawings were what I was getting at. If I draw an object and then thicken the border around it, it pops more. He’s copying stuff with no understanding of what he’s trying to do. He definitely is seduced by branding.
