Donald Trump said Tuesday that he has ordered his attorneys to conduct a review of Smithsonian museums, calling their portrayal of U.S. history too negative and focused too much on “how bad Slavery was.”

Trump said he would subject the museums to “the exact same process” his administration has conducted of universities, with the goal of making the Smithsonian less “woke.”

    It made them a single-industry agricultural economy, which only works so long as people want what you’re growing. When cotton was new, and fresh, and cool, it worked great for them! When the world started transitioning to a industrial manufacturing/global trade economy, it became a lot less valuable and lot less productive, as machines could do more, cheaper.

      Not to mention that the old plantation owners made absolute bank from share cropping after the slaves were liberated. Their economy was actually hampered by slavery, but it was worth it to them since they could futher entrench their racial hierarchy.

          So, i don’t think i would use any of those words to describe the population pf freed alaves for the next 100 years, as they were not made equala in society one bit
