There was no compelling evidence breakthrough over the last few days that could make any reasonable, morally grounded, ethical person come to this conclusion at this time. Even a casually disinterested person could tell it was genocide a long time ago. That he didn’t, says everything. We see this pattern over and over with people who score high on dark triad traits.

He says it himself. It’s not the actions of genocide, not the suffering of Gazans, its his conclusion that courts will condemn Isreal’s action as genocide and that is the self serving calculus he wants to be on the right side of.
