Me too… I have seen this thread so many times today.
Lemmy.ml is already on version .18, I don’t know why lemmy.world isn’t yet.
The update doesn’t let the site use captchas. They’re waiting for .18.1, which will.
It’s still on 0.17.4 as of 21:43 Saturday, 24 June 2023 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)

Lemmy does have some jarring bugs like this one
Another one that makes it near unusable is that content jumps when lemmy for some reason updates the feed automatically and on the top
I have to try to click a post faster than the update because it will rerender the whole list and any open images close
This is fixed in BE 0.18. Message your instance admin and ask them to update
Many are waiting for 0.18.1 due to captcha being necessary to control spam and bots

FUCKING YES. I can’t figure it out for the fucking life of me and I’ve been trying for two days. It’s inconsistent and kinda infrequent.
I got it clicking on the link to this very post. Orioles something something. I don’t even like baseball, much less fantasy baseball. No fantasy baseball communities in my feed that I’ve seen.
