They’re going to have the Supreme Court overturn her conviction so Trump doesn’t have to suffer the fallout from pardoning her himself…
So many corrupt options. They’re spoiled for choice!
This is almost worse for Trump. If the Supreme Court hears the case and clears her conviction, MAGA is going to raise a shitstorm. If they don’t clear it, then it at least kept the story in the news cycle when Trump wants the whole thing to disappear.
The better outcome for Trump is that she takes the pardon in exchange for blaming all the Democrats. Trump gets to pretend he’s not involved, and witch hunting Democrats keeps MAGA happy.
