I am not arguing that point at all. His rights were 100% violated. But you and everyone else fail to make decisions based on reality.

Everyone knows police abuse is a problem. Would you rather be right or dead? Instead of complying and filing suit later, he decided to make a bad situation 100x worse. As I said based on his reaction in slamming the door it is 100% reasonable that the officer making the stop would fear for his life. Regardless that the stop was illegal, IN THAT MOMENT, the cop would have been justified in drawing his weapon. Thankfully he didn’t and the young man is alive.

How exactly would an officer fear for his life when a door was slammed specifically to put distance between the victim and the officer?

I mean, police officers get scared from acorns falling on their cars. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone closing their door causes an officer to fear for their life.

Go watch the tape bro. You don’t have to take my word for it. There is a reason you’re only seeing the perspective from inside the car on social media.
