This is why I moved everything in my repos to codeberg.org once the Github VP left leaving Microslop in charge. I figured this would happen.

Classic plot of most of the Reddit revenge and Youtube channels.

I wonder if Brian wears a condom when he does it.
So I assume you already got the matching t-shirts?

I predict the Highway department is going to end up cleaning up a lot of poop off that highway. And people will be stealing signed announcing it’s name. Or shooting holes in those signs.
Trump is going to have the same problem with his gravesite unless it’s patrolled 24x7x365. A camera can be cut down, painted over, or otherwise destroyed. People will find a way to defile his final resting place. Eric and Don Jr. are going to spend so much money keeping that from happening at Mar-A-Lago.

I’ve turned off all the history tracking on my google account for years. I’m sure somewhere in their data lake, the data exists. They just don’t make it available to see on the web. I think this probably because when presented with a subpoena, they seems to have the data. Shocking, I know.

“I never wished a man dead, but I read some obituaries with great pleasure.” – Clarence Darrow
Didn’t use Jewish models, I see.
Michelangelo made the same mistake with his David.
Nana had a bunch of ash trays from Vegas casinos. They were much classier that these things. And I seriously doubt she ever ate at any of these places in her life.
Didn’t think his show was funny then. Didn’t bother watching his Netflix show. And he’s still not funny now.

I had a long discussion with my bank’s branch manager about this. They assured me that I don’t have overdraft protection. I’ve yet to have any fees since I keep a reasonable balance. I want my debit card to fail and my check to bounce. He assured me that’s what would happen.

A neighbor pointed out to me that Venmo, Paypal, and other such services lack the consumer protections of a credit card. So, I don’t use them. If I have a problem with a purchase, I know my credit card vendor will contact the merchant and deal with it. Even if the vendor says “All sales are final”, I’ll get a refund when I challenge the sale.

It’d be better if Pope Leo deputized and trained additional Vatican Guards and deployed them at various locations. Also a priest.
I’m perfectly fine switching back to a “feature phone” aka dump phone that takes phone calls and sends texts. If it also could be used as a music/podcast playiner, that’d be great too.

Be sure to hydrate if you do.

I left FB before the pandemic and don’t regret it. When I still had an account, I had to verify my account by sending them my DL. I did it but blanked out my address and DL #. That was invasive enough. This is just insane.
At least it gave you warning. I woke up to the 4TB WD gold drive being a brick. Doesn’t show up on Linux or MacOS. The electronics are dead. No SMART warnings. Nothing. Don’t think I’m buying another of these things. And the price went up (of course).
I have long fantasized about doing this exact same thing, especially to MAGA-types who somehow got my address and are mailing me requests for donations. Someone in those groups as well as THE SALVATION ARMY have discovered that those postage guaranteed reply envelopes cost money and prompt this response. So now all that stuff requires a stamp if you want to reply. I hope that’s cut down on their fundraising efforts.

Which reminds me of the new hire who was touring our newly installed data center.
“Wow. What great racks!” she said on entering the data center.
My cat had the same reaction to the electric can opener before they had pop-tops.
Sadly, they’re gone now but I imagine every time I opened a pop-top can of anything, they’d come running into the kitchen.
