I’m getting really tired of all these incredibly obvious headlines that juries and researchers keep finding.

What about Bowling for Columbine?

Wouldn’t the tu version be apilas? I’m not super familiar with that particular verb.

Non-native Spanish speaker, but I believe it’s in the directness of the command. Apila is telling someone to do it, whereas apile is just saying it needs to be done.

I haven’t seen an ISP offer tech installation on anything in years unless the home wasn’t pre-wired. Self installation kits are the norm these days.
Another fun fact, Pennsylvania means “the other end of the pencil”.

TLC asked him not to go.

I’m not in any way trying to downplay how bad the cyber-dumpster is, but is that an adequate sample size to extrapolate the fiery-death rate? The article says 17 times the rate of the Pinto, but it was only 5 total fires.
It’s at the end of “more.”

What is the single correct result? Because “me gusta” is an extremely common phrase that means “I like” in Spanish. I don’t have a clue what else you would be looking for, and I doubt the original poster in this comment chain does either.
Hopefully they didn’t misplace the decimal point.

Looks more like a Tool video to me.

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but if you aren’t from the US you probably don’t understand. We don’t generally have the same protections workers in other countries have. There’s no guaranteed sick days or PTO. Healthcare is usually tied to - or at least heavily subsidized by - your employment. Education has been defunded for decades. Housing costs are so high and minimum wages so low that many struggle to afford rent, let alone get onto the property ownership ladder.
On the contrary, entertainment is relatively cheap and plentiful. Even those in poverty are generally able to escape their woes temporarily with the TV or online. The system is designed to keep people helpless and complacent, and it’s been working beautifully from the perspective of the ruling class.
What this all results in is people with jobs that barely pay enough to afford to meet their basic needs, and can’t go without work because they can’t afford the risk of no healthcare or income, and aren’t inclined or educated enough to better their situations.

Back in 2016, if not before.

They should check the Oval Office. There’s plenty to be found there.

I’d honestly prefer that scenario to our current one. At least they were just stupid and not cartoonishly evil.

Had me in the first half, not gonna lie.

There’s a great Black Mirror episode that pretty much starts like that. Episode name is “Shut Up and Dance” for those interested.
You can get a lot for free too if you know what you’re doing.
