Oh do fuck off, there’s a good chap.

Pretty sure they are. Incestuous relationships between consenting adults (with the age varying by location) are permitted, including in the Netherlands, France, Slovenia, and Spain. Why not check before making such a statement?

Excuse me! Loads of Western European countries allow full incest (e.g. Belgium, France, Spain, etc.) so let’s not pick on us Brits for allowing cousins to fuck.
If it’s by Nena, it’s likely Irgendwie, Irgendwo, Irgendwann (Somehow, Somewhere, Someday).
I’m very old and I’ve never seen anything better. From the original soundtrack by Ben Frost, to the song montages at the end of each episode, the casting and, of course, the plot, it’s almost faultless. The theme song is by Apparat, BTW. I have so much of the music in my playlist it’s ridiculous.
Netflix’s DARK, except it gets good from the very beginning and then destroys your mind in Season Three. (It still fucking nails the landing though.)

Stephen Miller isn’t an elected politician. I’d also like to nominate Rupert Murdoch and Andrew Tate.
EDIT: In my cups, I’d probably nominate my son-in-law and daughter-in-law as numbers 2 and 3 instead.

FIFA are going to want their Peace Prize back.

I was always under the impression that mattresses should be changed every 7 years or so. I mean, that’s a lot of use over a long period of time! A quick Google suggests a lifespan of 7 to 10 years is about right. One article on this topic is here:
Quite. “… completely arbitrary” is wrong.
DARK every time. Currently on my 9th re-watch and still haven’t found anything better.

After 60+ years I don’t offer generic unsolicited advice any more (I learned that lesson) but if I were going to break that rule, I’d suggest you read books. Actually read them too, don’t rely on audio books, and read as widely as you can. Sci-fi, mystery, romance, historical, non-fiction, just try to read a book a month. To lose yourself in a book is one of the great ways to maintain mental health.
Also, don’t offer unsolicited advice.

Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid

I agree completely. My wife is dyslexic so we watched it dubbed the first time. On the second viewing (which we both enjoyed immensely because we were able to spot so much foreshadowing) we saw it in German with subtitles. I personally found this so much better.
I would have to disagree. It wasn’t an explanation of the plot, it was philosophical discussion on the concept of free will. Everything was shown but one had to really observe: not a show to watch whilst looking at one’s phone!
Edit: I know I used the word ‘explain’ in my previous post; ‘clarify’ would have been a better word. Let’s be honest: I’m a massive fanboy of the show and have watched it 8 or more times. I just think it’s the best thing I’ve ever seen.
It all came together in the end. I remember getting to S3E4 and my brain was fried so I just let it wash over me. Then E7 and E8 explained everything and were perhaps the best 2 hours of TV I’ve ever watched. A re-watch of the entire show made everything so much better too!
In the UK, most independent shops prefer cash to avoid paying EFTPOS fees. It’s therefore common to see “Cash is King” signs by the tills. In fact, some businesses (e.g. fish and chip shops and barbers) retain cash-only policies.
Edit: grammar.
