Who knows? Like, the world is very different from how it’s been presented to me if that’s the case. Corporations can own people and feed them highly produced gas lighting false realities? I’d be terrified. In the reality presented to me we’re on the brink of another world war. If that’s not real but there other is, then it sounds like the bad guys won a long time ago.

Do you feel that way because you’re being abused? Or do you feel that way because you might be an undiagnosed psychopath (and I do mean that in the clinical sense)? Because that’s two very different things.

But I think there’s more to tab groups than what containers provides. You can’t collapse all the tabs in one container down into a small representation of that group, for instance. Nor does it provide for a mechanism to move all the tabs in one group together along the tab bar, and reorder entire groups among other groups.

I think their concerns are orthogonal. The only really similar thing about them is that containers use a color coding visual style similar to tab groups. They lack a lot of the niche features that make tab groups really sing

Tab groups only provide a visual way of grouping tabs purely for organization & tab management considerations. Containers actually separate things like cookies, browsing history, etc. so that the APIs that let you query that in a web app only see things related to the domain of that container, i.e. the sites you have open in it. Containers are actually less of a protection now that Firefox separates cookies and stuff even outside of containers, but they still help break up tracking cookies, etc, so that you maintain a little more privacy than you’d have otherwise. Tab groups do nothing for privacy

So, yes, you are more likely to run into issues if you have an nvidia gpu but it’s still pretty unlikely

But if you’re a child who needs it broken down:

1. forums such as lemmy allow users to create multiple accounts
2. each account a person has access to is a potential vote
3. casual honest users will then likely just have one vote
4. whereas terminally online jerkoffs like you sound like will have a dozen or more accounts and votes
5. therefore, it’s not a good system for enforcing any kind of egalitarianism.

You might as well ask why we need login accounts at all. If you want to see what happens with such systems, you need only look at 4chan.
