It’s because you also get youtube music streaming included with it. If netflix had its own music streaming service bundled in their prices would be even higher than they are now.

Never had an issue with mine. Seems to be car radio dependant honestly. Had a cheaper wireless android auto in my previous car that worked great but refused to work in my new VW, grabbed the Motorola and it hasn’t given me a problem.
