This is just like with the crypto mining. Energy market regulations are made by idiots, so it’s easier to just ban the business altogether than charge them more for electricity and other resources

They’ll throttle you more - it’s just different way of gouging price

5G was a scam. Promises were impossible to fulfill and investment forums were full of paid shills propping up the telcom stocks. In reality 5G has the exact same throughput as 4G. Nothing changed

team of engineers who worked on the decision
You misspelled politicians. In case of the large scale project the decisions are made by politicians. And their goal isn’t exactly to spend money in optimal way. It’s to spend money on big flashy projects that win them votes.

How many gallons per football field is that?
And when I say football I men real one

Let’s do some math:
2.1GWh
And
Multi billion dollar price (let’s assume 3 billion)
2.1GWh - > 3billion
2.1MWh - > 3 millon
2.1kWh - > 3000 Usd /2.1
1KWh - > ~1430 USD
Considering that 1kWh in lithium ion batteries is like 150 USD they aren’t getting a good value out of it.
It was gmailfs - I probably still have a bunch of flash games and animations left in form of files split into emails there.

I did but not in US or UK

Why would anyone punish birds for jacking off?
Run your networking over IPX on that LLM

You have plenty to choose: Electric Soapboxes on wheels or pretty looking coffins with door handles that ensure you burn inside.

RX Vega 56 8GB HBM2, 64GB RAM
That’s poor but not horrible. LMStudio has Vulkan compute backend option that works on almost any card. You can also do partial GPU/RAM split giving you total of 72GB and increased performance vs CPU only.
I grew up on DOS with Volcov Commander and I prefer KDE
Are these real LLM character sheets???

If you have a high VRAM GPU (like 16GB or more) you can try running some model locally with LMStudio. You won’t get the same level as cloud models but depending on use case it might be good enough.
Icons on the desktop is a non-feature for most gnome users
Yeah because everyone who uses them is on KDE now.
Jesus it was pissing me off since 2017. I left Gnome in favor of KDE in 2019 You’re telling me you still can’t make a shortcut like a human being???
Actually it does. Bad decisions can be made only until money runs out
