Why? It’s already a Switch 1 game.
Switch 2 upgrade.
Again, why? It’s a pixel art game that won’t necessarily benefit from a graphics upgrade.
It’s a fantastic game, btw.
According to the article they haven’t announced what the Switch 2 upgrade will have, just that there will be an update.
