They got extensive data on launch, low gravity, and much of re-entry.
Read it again. They state that they learned nothing useful from euthanizing the cat and operating on it.
Right. So. Much was learned, just not from doing an autopsy on the cat.
I wish in the future, we all get nasa level broadband (for cheap or free)
